Just spent the day in Wallingford meeting up with friends - six adults, a baby and two dogs. Went to the Coach and Horses for lunch and it was amazing. Fantastic Greek food, friendly helpful staff, a very pristine restaurant and in the most beautiful...location next to green open spaces. Couldn't have made us more welcome. My only regret is that we don't live close enough to make more visits but we have all said we will definitely meet up again soon and that will be the place to go. A great big 'thank you' to the Coach and Horses for making us feel so welcome.More

Thankyou so much for the lovely response. We are very happy that you had a lovely lunch. It was a pleasure to serve you. Hope to see you again in the future. Thanks Charlie
Great for Charlie, Shelley, Theo and the team to be back. Wonderful food and atmosphere. This has been maintained under difficult circumstances. Covid restrictions are fully adhered to. And I feel safe visiting and assured with the protocols in place. A big thanks x Sue...and ChrisMore
Myself and my family visited the first weekend of August for something to eat, this was the first time we had gone out for a meal since the lockdown and was a little on edge however once we arrived we felt that all measures put...in place to fit with government guidelines put us at ease, clean, socially distant and did not at all feel uncomfortable if anything the complete opposite, we felt very relaxed about being there. The menu still had a great variety and food came out quick and was delicious! All staff are very welcoming and we look forward to returning again!
Thank you very much for a lovely day and putting us more at ease when it comes to eating out.
Would highly recommend visiting, great food, great staff and a beautiful location.More
My dad and I had Sunday lunch at The Coach & Horses yesterday. Not only was the roast dinner delicious, but the service and friendly welcome we received from Tony was absolutely outstanding! Having had a very recent bereavement in the family, this was just...what we needed and without a doubt we will be back. Thank you so much Tony, you made our day!More
My daughter and I had Sunday lunch today in The Coach and Horses. It was excellent and everything was home cooked by Charlie the landlord. Lam was our choice which was excellent wit fresh vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding and really good roast potatoes and gravy....Tony looked after us well as he did to all his customers. We will be returning. Great value.More
