Overlooking Wallingford’s market square, the Grade II listed building in St Martin's Street that was once home to the town’s prominent post office, first re-opened its doors as an Oakman Inn in 2009. Many thanks for the feedback. From what you describe, the service was not up to our usual standards. The chef brigade teams do receive extensive training. Indeed the quality of our freshly cooked menu is very much the hook on which we hang our hat....More

Our family greatly enjoyed their traditional Christmas lunch on Christmas Day except for the poor bread sauce. The rest of the menu was very good. Service was great and helped make for a great family atmosphere. Thank you to all the OPO staff.

Wow what a lovely place, proper pizzas, cooked in a proper pizza oven which looked marvelous on a cold Monday evening!! Great atmosphere, real ale was spot on, well it went down really nicely!! Overall a really nice place , will definitely return!!

Yes, Waitrose Car park - free after 5pm I believe (used to be 6pm). If you for lunch though, you'd be better off in the long stay down Goldsmiths Lane (turning after Waitrose if coming from traffic lights)
