Downside was the enormous portions on the plate of veg, maybe it's a personal choice but I like to help myself as its too overwhelming. Their was a bowl of cauliflower cheese and mash brought... What a great night!! Staff were amazing helping with the planning and had ideas to make the evening special. The evening was perfect with everyone enjoying their preordered meal so there was no waiting for hours for it to arrive. Most had ordered the hat trick meal and others a la carte. The only complaint was the cheese cake was... More

Excellent food but very limited menu and not the best ambience for an upmarket restaurant given the competition in the area

First impressions always count. Entrance to the restaurant was shabby dead plants in pots. Steep stairs on entrance was greeted by friendly staff. Shown to our table early which was great. Decoration was plain and looked a little tired. Menus came quickly but took a while before they asked what we wanted . Really should have asked early even if... More

Excellent, friendly service and very helpful. Melon was not on the menu as a starter but my husband asked if melon was available and they were very obliging and went and got him some. Thank you for that.

We decide last minute to go out on Saturday night. We called the restaurant and they said they were out of the restaurant and would ring us back in 5 minutes. They did so and could accommodate us at 6 30 which suited us fine. We were given a window table which was lovely. Food great, service great and lovely... More

I met a friend for an early supper midweek to find both the service and the food were faultless, delivering beyond expectation and excellent value.

Wow, thank you for your excellent review. it is really appreciated by Veronika and all the staff who work so hard to look after our guests. Hope your husband had a fantastic birthday. It is always so noticable that the good reports we get are often from customers happy for their identity to be known, whereas the poorer ones are... More
