We came to the Wheatsheaf for a family meal. We rang a hour before we wished to arrive, which they was able to accommodate for us. (As there was 18) we was highly surprised. After being shown to the table the waitress Beth was very accommodating, meeting our needs with our fussy order! We was able to sort the bill... More

We use this pub as a lunch time meeting place. The staff are friendly and the menu is really good. Portions are large and food tasty. Really good value for money.

I came in on Sunday for a family outing and I can honestly say the service, quality of the food and the staff were brilliant. The service was very quick although it was very busy, I had a steak and ale pie and it was amazing, all staff were very polite and you could tell they have worked hard to... More

It was my mother in law's 60th birthday and as a surprise I booked a table for a group of her friends to meet at 7:30pm. An hour before, the restaurant let me come in to dress the table with banners and balloons and hand over the cake. We thought it was great that we had to order drinks at... More

Seven of us went on Sunday lunchtime and whilst it was busy we had excellent service from Beth, Chloe & Meg. The food was excellent. Highly recommend it, it's well worth a visit.

Been there a couple of times now, the food is excellent a bit over priced but good. For the chain of pub it is, it's good to see that they have a menu of their own and not a pub chain menu.

We used to go to this pub for a meal often, always found the staff friendly and service was good. Its a bit more expensive than other local pubs but this was ok as it was a nice place with good food. Went in on Saturday at approx. 7pm to find the place empty- bad sign. The menu was the... More

We went to The Wheatsheaf for lunch on Sunday and whilst it was fairly busy, it wasn't packed out. We were told by the waitress to take a seat and she would be over to take our order. There isn't a huge choice on the menu so we were able to decide on our meals quickly, however after waiting well... More

We have used this pub on several occasions previously, and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The Wheatsheaf is located just off junction 11 of the M6, and has plenty of parking and a good sized play area for children. We were also greeted by some of the regulars and made to feel welcome as... More
