As we were staying nearby we called in for an evening meal. It serves typical pub food which was well cooked and we all enjoyed it. The beer was good as well.

For us, as ale enthusiasts, this venue offered is a great choice. The food also catered for different tastes and pockets - from the simple to the more extravagant. If you like a pub with a traditional atmosphere, this is one not to be missed.
