A great cafe to come to for an out and about lunch. I was impressed by the variety of the menu, though I settled for the typical fish and chips, which was pretty good. Luckily we were there before the rain, otherwise there's not much...More

Visited on an early walk with my dog who was not allowed in (sad but it's their call). Large latte was good and had the No 3 breakfast. The breakfast was very expensive and fairly limited for the cost. In comparison to other local eateries...More

A cafe that is always packed and busy speaks for itself. Lots of tables outside and a lot inside too but i found it too warm inside, at least outside you can pick up a sea breeze. The cakes look awesome and there is a...More

Busy cafe but right by the sea. Always busy at weekends and the food looks good. Been for breakfast and tea/coffee and cakes and never been disappointed. Toilets round the back are a bit odd but always clean, free and open when the cafe is....More

Although by the sea the actual food is bad and over price the only half decent thing is their cakes. Their portion size is small it's expensive and doesn't taste nice I wouldn't personally recommend it unless you like disgusting overpriced food.

This should probably be answered by the cafe themselves.

Hi there. I have recently written an unflattering review of the coffee here to which the owner replied typically defensively, rather than sorry on this occasion we made a mistake. Intrigued, I read some of the other reviews and it is quite clear to me that they are not all completely genuine. Famwag includes this comment ''Big family group - no problem, we'll pack your order and bring it to you on the beach. Want less of this and more of that - we'll tell the kitchen. It must be an utterly brilliant business for the owners, and a great way in to employment for the ever-changing, young staff. With the beach on one side (including sand when the tide is out), a large free car park (pay after 2 hours) on the other, and streams of people on coastal walks they certainly need the 150 al fresco seats and the 80 inside for less attractive weather.'' So my question is - do you think Tripadvisor readers are complete idiots to believe that this is a genuine independent review ? What reviewer actually counts all the seats in a restaurant ? I intend to take this up with Tripadvisor, and would like to hear your explanation first.
