12 of us went for a meal at the Bull Inn. Nice atmosphere but the food is terrible. My salad still had the core of the lettuce in it which had not been washed !!! The fish pie our friend ordered was so dry that it was not edible. Our friend got offered a pudding to conpensate which also was... More

Visited after a dog walk at Goring gap, have tried this place a few times and had mixed reviews not been back for a while. We decided to give it another go and we're happy with our decision. Good service nice food and a nice glass of wine. There seems to of been a change in the staff which has... More

We went as a family group. On arriving we asked if we could have a quick drink in the garden, we were early. We were told this would interfere with other booked tables and we could if we were quick... Food: fish and chips were OK. Chicken was rubbery and dry as a bone. Other customer complained. Burgers were OK.... More

Came here for lunch today ordered sea bass then told it was going to be lemon sole (not my favourite fish) only ale on tap then ran out and there was no one available to change the barrel? Partners mixed grill was over cooked and grisly 😔I had the homemade pie with mash and vegetables also overcooked!! Not an experience... More

Friday lunchtime and the sun is shining so let's got to The Bull for a Friday lunchtime treat. They lost our food order and when we finally got our food it looked like it had been thrown on a plate and was cold and tasteless. Won't be going back!

My partner and I discovered this lovely old pub a couple of weeks ago. It feels like a proper, traditional country pub, but in the middle of Worthing. We stopped for a drink and liked it so much we decided to bring the kids back for a meal which we did last night. At about 6pm the place was already... More

Nothing good or bad to say about this particular Chef & Brewer. Service was OK as wastage food. My fish pie was tasty and hot but the mixed vegetables that cam with it were Luke warm and flavourless. Appeared clean and tidy but as is the C&B way it was a bit on the dim side.

This is the first review I have ever taken the opportunity to write! We waited nearly an hour for two burgers(the pub was half empty) we were served a chicken burger with RAW bacon that looked like it had come straight from the packet! Plus a charcoal beef burger. We took one look and walked out! If you can't cook... More

Have been here before and rated it quite high as our experience was very pleasant but on today's occasion it couldn't have been further from our previous experience. When we walked in and asked for a table for two we were told that there was going to be a 20 minute wait on food and that we could sit in... More
