Went here for dinner last Thursday evening, have seen it 1000 times but never went in before now, what a huge mistake that turned out to be, this hidden gem was not only fantastic but one of the most enjoyable evenings I've had for some time. We had 3 courses and a couple of drinks each for £57 . I would highly... More

Called in early evening when it was quiet. Served quickly and efficiently.Staff friendly Food tasty and th bill was less than £50 for 3 courses and drinks (2 Peronis and 1 large mineral water). Will certainly be back later in the year.

We ate on a Saturday evening and the weather was horrible which meant there were only two other tables booked in the restaurant. We had snails, calamari, seafood tagliatelle and spaghetti bolognese with house wine and the food, and wine, was brilliant. The restaurant is a bit dated and you only get a few choices of pasta compared to pages... More

This restaurant must be my favourite because the staff is very friendly and polite and the food is to die for. It is absolutely the best Italian restaurant that I have been to. I have been into several and none of them compared to my experience regarding this restaurant. I advise everybody to try it.

Horrific food. Garlic bread literally dripping with grease and fat, refused to recook for us, heard chef shouting in kitchen about it. Canneloni runny sloppy and tasteless. Had better supermarket microwave meals. Pollo alla panna was sloppy, soggy batter with tasteless sauce and inedible I physically could not eat it and I'm never fussy. When asked waitress was very rude... More

We spent an evening with friends at Antonios recently - our second visit - just as enjoyable as the first. The food is freshly cooked for each diner, the atmosphere homely and relaxing. A good menu to choose from and beautifully cooked and presented. An unassuming restaurant from the outside, but a real gem inside.

Now, if you want the best calamari fritti, the best Vitello alla pana, the best garlic bread and in retro surroundings but without fuss and in the quiet, visit Antonios in the Brighton Road close to Splash Point and enjoy the most delicious authentic Italian food freshly cooked to order by Antonio and brought to you by his wife Lyn.... We went to this restaurant as it was convenient for our guest house and we both love Italian. What a mistake. There were only three people in there who left shortly after we arrived so we were the only ones in there. We both ordered the giant mussels which were very nice. We then had chicken in a tomato sauce... More

I apologised several times to the customer and explained that the piece of "plastic" found in the Spaghetti Carbonara was in fact a tiny piece of the plasticated paper used to separate the slices of Parma ham. I said I was sorry and that it was an accident. The customer ate all of the meal, wasn't charged for it, so... More
