It's a typical Wetherspoons and probably the nicest pub in town...old converted hotel done very well. Usual range of great beers and cheap as ever! Well worth a look in if in town..

It's an ok pub for a quick drink. I'm not keen on the food.. it often seems hit and miss, sometimes you go and it's good others it's just not... so I no longer eat there. And it's so dark in there you need night vision goggles. The staff though are and have always been really friendly and helpful

Another visit to one of our favourite eating and drinking holes in Ashford. There is a daily special deal, on a Wednesday it's Club Chicken. Service is generally quick and the staff are very welcoming. Food is always good and very reasonably priced. We shall be back soon.

I went to this pub for lunch, I had burger and chips with a drink. The food was of good quality and arrived quickly. Highly recommended.

Glad to have been back in this pub oasis in Ashford! My partner and I had the usual All Day Brunch & Large Breakfast served hot in a cosy atmosphere a Premier Inn affiliated restaurant can't provide at this price. However, Scott: Please curfew babies and toddlers from being feeding the slot machines or being seated on the main bar... More

Everyone customer should be treated equally regarding tables and seating. No one wants to sit having a meal or drink sitting at a high table. Things have gone down hill which is upsetting with food and clealiness. Fish and Chips were dreadful to eat. Complained but had to wait.

When I call it a typical Wetherspoons outlet this is meant in a positive way, not negative. If you visit a Wetherspoons you expect good food and a wide choice of drinks, all at a reasonable price. And that is exactly what you get at The County Hotel. Even at the busiest times I have always found the staff polite... More

Called in with 2 work colleagues for a drink. Didn't have time to eat. Was busy and chaotic at bar but wetherspoons always seem to be same. No real structure for serving. Was ok. Not terribly impressed overall

Second meal I have had here, Fish and chips, the fish was incinerated the knife provided would not cut through batter I had to break it by hand, fish inside was completely dried out. My wife had Ham egg and chips sunny side up, eggs were solid dreadful performance by cook, cannot call him or her a Chef. Returned eggs... More

The fact that I was always served alcohol in this pub without anyone asking me for my ID made me forget about it at home on a Friday night, which apparently it's one of the few days the staff asks for IDs. I perfectly understand and respect the alcohol law when it comes to selling it to minors, so I... More
