We ate here on bank holiday Sunday evening. Staff are efficient and very friendly. Food was superb. It's a family run business with husband, wife, son and daughter in law and daughter all involved. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome by chatting with the customers and they great a very warm and friendly atmosphere.... More

Had dinner here tonight, the food was excellent, staff very friendly and efficient and the French owner couldn't do enough for us. He talks to all his customers and gets to know them in the brief time they're there. He seems so passionate about his restaurant and we felt he really wants you to have a great experience and doesn't... More

We went to Buxton just for the day on August Bank holiday Sunday. We passed Le Brasserie with tables outside and we had our little dog with us so got sat outside. The lady told us we could eat in the bar and bring in the dog so we did. We had sandwiches and they were delicious. My husband had... More

This is our second visit in the last couple of months. Wish it was closer to where we live. The food is real authentic French cuisine, and reasonably priced, as is the wine. The restaurant has a real French feel about it and the staff are lovely - great service. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back again.

Having been unable to eat here last year, we called in this time without having made a reservation and were accommodated immediately. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive and extremely helpful and embraced a sense of fun into the bargain. The meals we ordered were cooked to perfection and the poire belle Helene is to die for as... More

The dessert and liquor coffees were amazing and really enjoyed them. I wasn't as pleased with my mussels quite a few were closed or crushed so I didn't eat them. Really friendly staff but the main let it down a little.

Took the wife and two young kids for a late lunch. I had coq au vin, the wife had chicken in mushroom gravy. The girls had sausages/cheese and ham pancake and chips. The food was really good (based on the fact it was better than had we cooked it at home). Mine felt a bit pricey, but on balance it... More

We tried this little restaurant on the recommendation of a friends. So superb! I can't tell you - very very friendly host and very accommodating. Food was excellent as was the service, and they were very very busy! We had mains and a dessert and although the price was to the upper range of middle, it was worth it. I... More

We were lucky to come across this lovely little Brasserie as we walked into town and we had a lovely lunch sat outside on the terrace enjoying the summer sunshine. Food was very good, service quick and staff friendly. Will visit again.
