Really tasty supper on a summer evening- relaxed with a glass of wine. I had a vegetarian casserole and my friend had the cottage pie - unusual in that we both got a helping of very nicely cooked veggies- all fresh and local. We didn’t...More
8 pounds gets you one average size fillet of mackerel, a small basic SIDE salad and a slice of bread. Advertised as a salad, was expecting a decent bowl of mixed salad, not a garnish!

Visited today for a second time as it’s totally dog friendly and Sunday lunch was great at last visit.
Had main menu chicken curry as spaghetti Bol was off the menu and couldn’t fault its taste and potion size. Recommend a visit

Good food, jacket potato’s come loaded with fillings. The Mayo comes separately to the tuna. Busy but still plenty of tables. Had run out of lots of things relatively early into lunchtime though. Friendly staff.
Another important stop in Hay-on-Wye.

This is a basic restaurant but that said if offers a good value range and is quirky with great staff and service. A range of beers and with a tasty wine at just under £18 you will not have to find deep pockets. Right in...More

When something tastes so good you're compelled to write a review I think that says enough. The vegetarian main course of garlic flat bread with hummus, tzatziki, homemade falafels, coleslaw and fresh salad was really very delicious. Not too heavy but full of flavour. I'm...More
