Very impressed - great food and very good service. My husband has said that's the best steak he has had for a very long time, would definitely recommend, not one to miss 😋😋😋😋

Living in the area I have had the pleasure of eating at The Piercefield on quite a few occasions (although I have not visited for quite a while). The food has always exceeded expectations- fresh, tasty and of high quality. There are many places in Chepstow that sell good 'pub-grub' but the Piercefield have always been of restaurant quality. NOT... More

But average isn't good. The quality of the food wasn't great and relatively expensive. I would have rather dined at home with a £10 meal deal from M&S. They need to up their game to entice people to eat there. The "award winning" ice cream was extremely poor.

We called in on the off chance about,2-30 on Sunday 26th June, after a weekend away. They were very busy but there was a table for us. We all had a beef dinner, it was amazing two thick medium rare pieces of beef a massive Yorkshire pud. Roast pots and new pots. Then the veg came and a jug of... More

Large but cosy pub with a lovely feel to it. Good menu and lovely food. New children's play area makes it even more inviting for families.

We attended for a Fathers' Day meal. We had booked but our table was not prepared. The service was very slow both for bringing our order and clearing away plates. We ordered desserts at the bar as the delays between courses were far too long. The food was good, but we were disappointed to note when we got home that... More

My girlfriend and I went to the Piercefield for an evening. The restaurant staff took us to our table and quickly took our order. The food arrived in good time, and sadly it wasn't of the highest quality and wasn't really hot enough, in spite of the restaurant being quiet. Having said this, the fish was good but it was... After trying several pubs in chepstow which had run out of food on Saturday lunch time we went drive out here. Service was pretty slow but we were in no rush and menu was good and food tasty. Considering the state of most pubs in chepstow at the moment this is worth the short drive!

Booked table for 9 people for lunch. 3 starters ordered only 2 arrived, 3 starter cancelled at bar when other starters had been eaten. 9 main ordered, 7 mains arrived, 1 of which was not ordered by us so returned to kitchen. Server had to come back to the table to check the order for the remaining 3 mains. 2... More
