Perfect location on the river and great atmosphere but the food is incredible. The chips and the vegetables are beautiful. Recommend the pork belly on the specials board and definitely have a pudding. Beautiful.

Inside is always nice and cosy to sit in. The bar area is slightly small but its a great place to sit in the evening with the fire roaring and only the table candles to illuminate the bar. We have not eaten here yet but we intend to. My wife will post her food review later. The food going out... More

The Taybank is perfect any time of the year - warm atmosphere inside in winter and great scenery outside in summer. The burgers are great, the staff are very friendly, and the (mostly folky) music is always spot on. The beer garden has a beautiful of the river Tay, the bridge and the hills surrounding Dunkeld. For an experience of... More

What a great job the new owners are doing. It is great to see all the improvements they are doing , although there is still work to be done don't be put off by negative reviews. There is a large beer garden with lovely views . The day we visited there was live music all afternoon & a band playing... More

Love going here for a drink, the pub is always so warm and friendly, since the new owners have taken it over they have made a dramatic improvement to the building, its so good sitting outside in the summer sunshine, or in winter with the outdoor fires on and sitting under the fairy lights. The pub regularly has live music... More

This pub overlooks the river Tay and a victorian stone bridge built by Thomas Telford in one of the most beautiful towns in Scotland (technically a city because of the Cathedral?). Only a couple of real ales on offer but also has live music and a food menu so definitely worth a visit.

Four of us stopped here for lunch inside. We ordered a burger, pork ribs x 2 and venison borguignon. All were awful. Venison was tasteless, burger was a cheap nasty burger and cheese was missing, the ribs were congealed and tasted really bad, particularly the colder they got. The chips with the ribs also tasted like frozen oven chips. Too... More

Description
Public house and venue situated on the banks of the river Tay, in Highland Perthshire.

The Taybank changed hands in Summer 2014 and is currently undergoing some much needed, and significant renovation work.
During the renovation, the bar has been open, the kitchen continues to get better and better under the supervision of our fantastic new head chef, and our music sessions play on...
