We love going here and have never been disappointed. The choice is great, a mix between traditional Nepalese as well as Indian cuisine - and they do delicious momos! I would strongly recommend trying the lamb shank curry, not had one like it anywhere else, the meat falls off the bone.Their vegetarian curries are tasty too, the palak kofta is... More

I have been a regular customer at the Gurkha palace for many years, the food is of a very high quality and the service you receive is second to none, wether you dine in or take away. Parking is not an issue as it is located in a small shopping village, If you are after something a little different than... More

The restaurant has been refurbished & freshly decorated. The Nepalese menu is extensive with an interesting choice. Service is still first class as it has been since we went there in the early days. The restaurant is equally suited for a quick 6 o'clock meal, a lingering later meal or a party.

As always we have had the best meal here 100 % ! Samilla, Robin and Sudip are the perfect waiters serving delicious freshly cooked food. Amongst the dishes I highly recommend is the बकवास starter. Kalejo butuwa. Expect it to be a dry but thoroughly great dish! बकवास बकवास its good.....

Came here with a couple of mates. Once of the best Currys I've had in the area. Seemed very popular, so worth booking up! Good atmosphere and great food

We only found Gurkha Palace when our usual "go to" Indian was closed. We've lived near Folkestone for 7 years but somehow never made it here. Well, all I can say is, our loss. The night we went, they were very, very busy, with a party of around 40 who arrived just after us. Despite this, we were made to... More

Stayed nearby overnight before Chunnel crossing. Worth a visit. Doesn't look much from outside but food really good and service is friendly. Busy with a nice atmosphere.

We haven't been here for a while and thought it had improved on our last visit (which was good). The portions seemed bigger and the menu whilst keeping its Nepalise focus also accommodated more common curry dishes. The staff were helpful.

Went here for lunch with my Nepalese colleague who said this was the best Nepalese restaurant around. The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. The Momos were to die for. I have found myself craving momos almost every week since. Had a really tasty lunch, took some momos to go and headed back to work to share the... More
