This use to be a very good place, but it's too busy, the foods is ok, nothing special. You have to wait a while for staff to keep coming round, if you ask the wrong person for wine, there go way and send someone else's 15/20 mins later to you. Some people say it's unhurried this is a joke, been... More

I love this place, the food is very good and service normally good. It is quite expensive for the area but good for a treat!

We visit the Three Acres many times a year and have done for over 30 years. The atmosphere is relaxing and unhurried. The decor is British traditional and a little haphazard in a delightful way. The chefs are fabulous - and the food bought locally. Delicious and contemporary; often based on popular British fayre. From the chutneys to the puddings... More

We went to Three Acres for lunch last week. We had a great meal and can't praise the staff enough. Matt behind the bar was very obliging and Lisa who served us was absolutely delightful - nothing was too much trouble for her...even though one of our party was slightly bolshy(having a bad day!).Lisa coped brilliantly. We will definitely be... More

On Friday 12th August I hosted a party for 15 in the Krug Room which was the perfect size for us. We were given an excellent limited set menu with good choices (and a reasonable price for a three course meal) that suited everybody. I was given good assistance in choosing decent red and white wines that again suited everybody.... More

I moved away from the area many years ago but recently needed to to go back for a visit. In my day this was just a pub, now it's more than just a pub! The food is excellent with a varied menu which will leave you wondering how many times you will need to go back there in order to... More

My sister booked our dads 70th birthday meal here. We wanted to book something special and we wasn't let down. Antically I thought the set 3 course menu at £30 a head was a bit expensive but I was wrong. The food was amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection . My son is autistic and they even specially catered to... More
