Ordered bacon ribs and nachos followed by chicken with garlic mushrooms and 12oz ribeye. Nachos were good but ribs like rubber. Chicken was cold and steak had a weird fishy aftertaste and was overcooked. The side of corn on the cob was like mush. Sent the steak back, waitress said she would tell the chef and never came back !!!!... More

Well what can i say...not much! Was quieter here than my previous visit on a saturday evening so does that say something! 2 for 1 is what it is...cheap and microwave food. Disgusted at 3slices of garlic bread at 3.50..the cajun chicken burger was dry..an old piece of lettuce and slice of tomatoe..no sour cream like mentioned...was told probably because... More

Went here before going to pictures have to say for service was very good and the food was excellent value for money. I had chicken salad with cous cous it was great. You really get value for money and staff were great. A great experience

I really didn't used to like this place and thought the food was pretty awful but it does seem to be getting better. It's still the usual 'ping food' that you get in the chain pubs but they seem to be doing it better recently. The menu is varied and being a vegetarian I'm suitably happy with the amount of... More

Worst meal Iv ever had in a pub ever. I realise that it's a cheaper place to eat but surely there should still be taste and standards. To be fair the staff we're friendly and when I sent my burger back due to it being cold they apologised and replaced it very quickly. We had nachos and burgers which we... More

My partner and I were invited for a few drinks for my friends birthday. We hadn't eaten for a while so decided to eat there too. The meal was ok nothing special, and I also had a sweet, which I enjoyed more. I would probably go again.

Like many of the reviews I also came here with my partner as we were staying in the Travelodge across the road. We visited two nights and both were annoyed with the service. Our first night was enjoyable. I made my dietary requirements clear to the staff however my meal came with a pot of sauce which shouldn't have been... More

We were staying in the Travelodge next door, so ended up eating here 3 times during out stay. And what a good decision it was! The Yorkshire Rose is a fantastic English pub. The decor inside is lovely and homely and the food was delicious! They offer 2 for 1 meals, so the cost is very reasonable. What we really... More

It's a two for one so you don't expect too much. It sounds better than it tastes to be honest and it comes across as frozen mass produced convenience food. I could be wrong. I had scampi and chips with peas, the scampi was at best average. My husband had a cowboy burger which he enjoyed but he was starving.... More

first time i've visited and will not be going back! one of the waiters was good but after our starters it took 40 minutes for them to bring our main course out, and when they did, it was like microwave food, very disappointed. the chips were like poundland chips and the bread on my burger was disgusting! my friend's onion...
