We called in to this wonderful village pub last week as a 'walk in' only to find them so popular that they were fully booked :-( We didn't take a chance this week and booked ourselves in for Sunday lunch. We have eaten traditional Sunday lunch in many pubs in and around Newbury, but this is by far the best... More

We had fabulous time celebrating this gorgeous pubs first birthday at the weekend. The staff work tirelessly to provide a wonderful experience for its customers. The party held by the pretty river, had all the ingredients for a lovely afternoon in the sun....Sara, the landlady, clearly loves her pub and caters for her customers every drinking, eating and fun atmosphere... Went here on the 30/7 for a few pints with my mate, got chatting to the landlady while sat out in the beer garden and she is a great laugh, made us feel very welcome too. To top it off, I had the best cheesey chips I have had for a very long time. Simple but good! Will be going... More

Unless your know it is here, you would drive straight past the road leading to the pub. We heard this place had new owners so thought we would give it a go - and we were not disappointed at all. There is a small outside beer garden, and a large carpark in this sleepy little hamlet, but the pug has... More

A wonderful pub tucked out of the way, so you need to look for it. The pub offers 3 casque ales, and a very good cloudy cider. The main menu is relatively small but the food is excellent. The chorizo burger is thick and juicy, the fish finger sandwich on thick bloomer is very good. Service is very good -... More

My visiting friend was feeling a bit down about the state of the chips available in this country. Thankfully I was able to change her mind about pub food before she left after coming across The Three Horseshoes. The host was amazingly friendly and went well out of her way to make us feel very welcome. The food was delicious... More

Another visit to the Three Horseshoes and it delivered again. The food is gorgeous and wine lovely......such a nice atmosphere and the food is cooked to perfection. The pub is so cosy and the staff very attentive. Well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed.
