A little overpriced for what you get but the food is always fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the eggs benedict with spinach! Great vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menu too. Excellent for breakfast and brunch. Milkshakes are amazing too.

I really like coming here. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The décor inside is lovely but this café is even better when it's warm enough to sit outside by the canal.

This typically English Teashoppe reminds me of going to tea with my Nana in the days when china cups and tea cakes were the norm at 4pm! With a rather old fashioned style that is welcoming and food cooked to order you are bound to want to take your friends there so that you can repeat the experience of good... More

Started our day here with a late breakfast before a long bike ride, was lovely. Also had a gluten free option which was perfect for my partner. Only complaint is that the delicious coffee could have been in a larger cup, just being greedy!

After an attempt to visit about 6 months ago when the vegetarian and gluten free menus had been eradicated it was great news to see that they were back. We had toasties, cheese and tomato and bacon, brie and cranberry both were simple but delicious. The proper tea was fantastic and the feel of the cafe is cosy. We will... More

Freshly cooked breakfast using quality ingredients. Fresh tea leaves in pots a nice touch. The service was both welcoming and relaxed.

This venue is right on the canal and makes use of the wonderful old Stone Building owned by the K&A Canal Trust I believe. The setting is just ideal for coffee, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. It's not part of a chain and the staff are very welcoming and helpful and the food is good too.

Lovely spot by the river. Great selection of teas. Dedicated vegan/vegetarian menu; including vegan cheese rather than simply the same dishes with less as many others do. Friendly staff and swift service. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

The situation, right next to the Canal is perfect for eating both outside (in fine weather) and limited space inside. Having already read some of the complimentary reviews about the food being served, perhaps my expectations were too high, in reality my Toasted Sandwich on white bread was almost too difficult to cut and eat, I thought that the bread...
