Called in for coffee and sat at canal/river side watching the world go by. Excellent service by friendly staff. Came back for lunch (before a boat trip) good tasty food freshly cooked.

Lovely tea in a tea pot with china cups and saucers bought out to us whilst sat outside feeding the swans by the river in the sun. What more could you want?!?!

A nice day when we visited so sat outside on the wharf. Excellent pot of leaf tea, and crispy Italian pastries to die for. I would be more than happy to return and sample more from the menu.

Excellent place for a spot of tea or coffee and lovely home made cakes. We went there last Friday and were deIighted by the lovely surroundings by the canal. The tea shop is spotlessly clean and full of really interesting objects. The staff were wonderful, friendly and extremely helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

We were 3 men on motorcycles. We found a free motorcycle parking bay in the main car park, about 50m from the tea rooms. This is exactly what you would expect of a traditional tea rooms. There is seating outside, close the the canal. The cakes are excellent t and there is a range of speciality teas. We've visited before... More

ok, so the weather was great and we enjoyed the riverside view so it is feasible to suggest that my good mood is responsible for this review but honestly, it was the breakfast that really blew me away. This is not a cheap option (£19.80 for 2 x breakfasts with tea for 1 and coke for the other) but it... More
