We visited this shop by chance after a nearby chip shop had closed minutes before our arrival. The outside said traditional fish and chips, TripAdvisor rated it 4/5 so we decided why not? Upon entering we were welcomed happily by the staff who were more than willing to take our food order and advised us on what was available to... More

Picked the Coffee Bean by chance. What luck! Good coffee. Delicious homemade vegetable soup. We had cheese and ham toasties which unexpectedly came with a few chips and a small salad. Toasties good, chips absolutely delicious. My wife finished with a slice of carrot cake - she enjoyed, homemade, not sweet. The cafe is clean, well decorated, comfortable and bright.... More

This gem of a cafe deserves all the praise i can give. The food especially the lasagne was the best i've had in a long time & the chips were superb. Friendly staff, reasonable prices & parking almost out side, what more could you wish for.

Visited this restaurant for our tea whilst on a break in Scarborough. The menu offers variety and good value. We chose from the 'two mains for £15' menu and had the haddock and chips with bread and butter and coffee. The fish was excellent and the batter light and crispy. The homemade soup (leek and potato) was very tasty. Our... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to have lunch near Peasholm Park. I googled places nearby. The Coffee Bean was close by. From the outside it looked inviting and it was nice and warm and bright. Our meals were tasty and coffee was lovely. I would visit again if I'm in the area
