Great selection of food. The staff are very helpful and can't do enough to try and help you. Last time I went the 8OZ BEEF BURGER was great. Car park round the back, we left the car there and walked home Quite expensive so hence 4 *

For me personally Tummies is like my living room with kitchen attached. Smashing ambience, friendly and accommodating staff. The main menu and the pub me are simply relishing and savoury. I strongly recommend a visit. It grows up on you so don't be surprized if you're drawn to it. It's Tummies magic.

Staff were very friendly and managed to accommodate even though we were late. An off the menu request was also fulfilled. Great atmosphere. 4/5 as we were in a very quiet part of restaurant and had to wait for service. Will be back!

We booked the private dining chefs table for my dads 60th birthday and it was perfect! We started in the main restaurant and was served champagne & canapés. Shortly after we were taken to the private chefs table & introduced to 'Claude' the chef patron & our waitress Anu. Followed was five courses of perfection all prepared and cooked in... More

Have eaten here before and always enjoyed the meal but this time it was disappointing. My mother's prawn salad was drowned in dressing and my salad still had the stalk ends on both the onion and pepper. The reaction of the staff was they would tell the chef. Though to be fair the bitter shandy they served had a strange... More

I have eaten with colleagues at Tummies eight times in the last five years. It is one of the restaurants our team likes to book when we are in town for training. They serve everything from steak, to chicken, to seafood dishes along with salads and soups that are all very nicely cooked. As you walk in the door, it... More

Being a Monday night, quiet but not dead. The Ham, eggs & chips wasn't your usual ham, eggs and chips! Duck eggs, Sorrento ham and wedge chips!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife had Prawn and Chillies Linguine, and asked for a light chillie, and that is what she got. Service was good, reasonably priced and would go back there again

A bit far from central Slough, but definitely worth the trip (various buses nearby, or a short train ride to Burnham, although we just cycled). Dinner menu looked a bit limited online, but that's because I hadn't noticed the monthly specials - that adds another four starters and mains, and allows for seasonal choices which I often enjoy. Advised that... More

Established in 1988, Tummies has grown considerably over the years and now encompasses not only the popular Restaurant, but also the Bar, Cookery School, Chef's Table and a number of versatile Function rooms (for private and business events).
Privately owned and operated to this day by Claude Mariaux, his passion remains the same: to serve serious, unpretentious food with great personal service in a cosy and comfortable setting. All the food is cooked to order using the best quality and freshest ingredients, and the Restaurant Menu comprises some of the good old favourites, such as "Fillets of Pork in a creamy mustard sauce", "Steak, Mushroom & Guinness Pie, Butter Mash - not forgetting the dram of Sherry!". Vegetarians and Guests with Special requests are always well looked after and nothing is too much to ask for at this friendly local! Homemade Sandwiches and Salads can be taken away or eaten in and don't miss the exceptional cooked Breakfast (Served 7 days a week).
Hold business meetings or celebrate your birthday, Hen Party, retirement or leaving do etc in one of the Function Rooms which can accommodate up to an impressive 100 people!
The Cookery School is at the back with numerous courses on offer for either a beginner or an accomplished cook. These make the perfect gift for both the Gents and the Ladies! And if all of this is not enough The Chef's Table is a must for a really special celebration! Sit around the beautiful Maple Table, where the cooker is in-set and your own chef will prepare and cook a bespoke Lunch or Dinner for you and your guests right in front of you. So whatever your Catering needs, just pop in to Tummies! We look forward to welcoming you!
