One of the best place to chill out and/or enjoy a drink or having a meal in the evening while sitting outside a pedestrian street in town. Had a very fresh and tasty chicken salad there recently while reading my book it was great and good service too . I also had a selection of falafels, houmous and grilled cheese... More

Lovely evening with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere. The portions are generous without being over the top and the service is lovely and relaxed. There is no rushing you to finish your starter so they can bring your mains out. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxed evening with some delicious Lebanese food.

Good option for tasty Lebanese. I had a salad and spicy potatoes, plus cinnamon tea. All fresh and nicely spiced. Friendly staff & good central location, 3 mins walk from Red Lion walk/Boots.

Mainly vegetarian but with some meat pieces. Staff were friendly attentive and helpful but definitely not pushy. We ate late and although the restaurant was... More

The charcoal aroma hits you as soon as you walk through the door... Authentic Lebanese nice and friendly atmosphere. Been here many times in the last year and have always been impressed. Great food succulent meat accompanied by just the right amount of rice( which I absolutely love) and tasty salad. Always polite and friendly welcoming... Will definitely recommend !!

We visited Albatta this week for lunch, 5 adults, 4 babies and a toddler (including 4 buggies!). We were made to feel very welcome, we took up a lot of space with the buggies but the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The place was really busy with other families, couples and friends. The food was great (falafel wrap was... More

Booked out the restaurant for a birthday lunch for about 60 guests. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and helpful unobtrusive service. A great time had by everybody. The sun was shining and the courtyard at the back was like an middle eastern oasis in the heart of Essex.

My husband and I went to Albatta for dinner on a Thursday evening. We got a seat directly in the window which was perfect for us. This was our first visit, I've walked passed this restaurants hundreds of times before but I've never gone in until now. The food was absolutely delicious, and amazingly priced. I went for the lamb... More
