We had a very enjoyable first visit to the Barley Mow, excellent food served in a very convivial atmosphere, not the cheapest but as is said " the quality remains long after the price as been forgotten", we will certainly go again just can't work out how we have'nt before.

Having previously been for a Sunday lunch here I was lucky enough to visit for a second time whilst visiting my parents over the half term holidays, the service from the minute you walk in until you leave is first class attentive without being overbearing, The landlady makes a genuine effort to talk to you as do the staff, the... Visited whilst on a 80's music weekender at Butlin's. Got there 20 minutes before closing, staff really helpful, couldn't do enough for us. A couple of meals we were after had been sold out which the server was just apologetic about. We had 3 meals, traditional fish and chips which was a huge portion and very tasty, Garlic mushrooms 'the... More

We go here on a regular basis and I can not recommend it highly enough. The food is fantastic, especially the belly pork. 😊 The staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, they always go above and beyond.

Four of us dined here this weekend whilst holidaying nearby. The food is excellent, especially the belly pork! Lovely pub/restaurant and the service is very good. Not the cheapest but certainly not overpriced. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Booked a winter lunch with friends and enjoyed a traditional topside roast. beautifully cooked meat and an array of fresh vegetables. Service was just right with a good balance of asking if we were happy, top ups of drinks etc. Puddings also enjoyable and altogether a good experience at a reasonable price

We booked the restaurant for 8pm but had a change of plan and asked, on the day, if we could change the time. Despite being fully booked, they let us change to 5.30. The food was freshly prepared and well presented and the staff friendly. There were main courses to suit all budgets, from fish and chips to t-bone steak.

Great pub, really good food, staff super friendly if not a little forgetful but that didn't spoil the evening or even deter us from visiting again

Atmosphere is great, relaxed, cosy and comfortable, ideal for a drink before dinner. Bar staff are always available and cheerful. Menu is spot on with a good selection of freshly prepared food, no bought in ready prepared stuff here! I usually have a fillet which is in my opinion the best in the area? The kitchens are exceptionally clean, just... More

My wife & I have visited the Barley Mow for many years. My mother in law lives near to Boston & by a country mile the Barley Mow is produces the best food locally. We no longer look elsewhere, having tried other venue's, we just use the Barley Mow these days. 100% recommended.

Description
We are a country pub, located 14 miles from Boston, 8 miles from Skegness, we boast a large carpark, beautiful garden with patio and heated smoking hut.Inside we offer a large conservatory overlooking the garden, which leads into the public bar, with 2 drinking areas and a seperate dining room on the side overlooking the countryside.
We close all day Monday and serve food from Tuesday evening to Sunday lunch. We get very busy in the evenings and on a Sunday Lunch, so we do recommend to book!!
We offer fresh prepared food using reputable suppliers and make majority of the dishes here on sight, we pride ourselves on Proper Food in a clean comfortable cosy yet modern village pub with restaurant.
