We booked the restaurant for 8pm but had a change of plan and asked, on the day, if we could change the time. Despite being fully booked, they let us change to 5.30. The food was freshly prepared and well presented and the staff friendly. There were main courses to suit all budgets, from fish and chips to t-bone steak.

Great pub, really good food, staff super friendly if not a little forgetful but that didn't spoil the evening or even deter us from visiting again

Atmosphere is great, relaxed, cosy and comfortable, ideal for a drink before dinner. Bar staff are always available and cheerful. Menu is spot on with a good selection of freshly prepared food, no bought in ready prepared stuff here! I usually have a fillet which is in my opinion the best in the area? The kitchens are exceptionally clean, just... More

My wife & I have visited the Barley Mow for many years. My mother in law lives near to Boston & by a country mile the Barley Mow is produces the best food locally. We no longer look elsewhere, having tried other venue's, we just use the Barley Mow these days. 100% recommended.

I have been to the Barley Mow on a handful of occasions and I have always enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere here. On this occasion we booked on a table for a Saturday evening. We managed to get one by calling around an hour before we wanted to eat which was great as we was going to be heading... More

We have previously been to a number of the Skegness hotels for our work Christmas Party, but decided this year to start the festivities with a meal. We were certainly impressed from the outset with brilliantly coordinated starters, 27 all coming out at the same time, with superb service. As two of the party needed gluten free meals, they had... Called in to this Pub / Restaurant, without having done any 'Trip Adviser' research, simply because it was convenient. We were pleasantly surprised to find a comfortable Pub, very tastefully extended by a large conservatory restaurant. The food was excellent, considerably better than we had been expecting. The belly pork was especially good, cooked to just the right level to... More

Tried this pub after looking at their reviews on TA, while visiting friends in the area. We were mostly impressed by how helpful, dedicated, professional and friendly all the staff was. Balancing attentiveness and relaxed, friendly attitude is always delicate, but something they mastered very well. The £12.95 two-course menu is very good value for money while one could add another... An old pub carefully extended and adapted for good dining. Pleasant garden area for eating out in the summer. Ample parking. Entirely rural, with extensive views across farm land. Approx. 1ml. from the coast for bird watching and walking, not for paddling or swimming!

We are a country pub, located 14 miles from Boston, 8 miles from Skegness, we boast a large carpark, beautiful garden with patio and heated smoking hut.Inside we offer a large conservatory overlooking the garden, which leads into the public bar, with 2 drinking areas and a seperate dining room on the side overlooking the countryside.
We close all day Monday and serve food from Tuesday evening to Sunday lunch. We get very busy in the evenings and on a Sunday Lunch, so we do recommend to book!!
We offer fresh prepared food using reputable suppliers and make majority of the dishes here on sight, we pride ourselves on Proper Food in a clean comfortable cosy yet modern village pub with restaurant.
