Me and my partner has a weekend away in Skegness and wanted to go out for a meal. After browsing trip advisor we decided to come here. We called in at 7pm on Friday and were seated no problems. The service was very good and the food was amazing!! Would definitely recommend and would return if we lived closer!

We asked the taxi driver which Indian restaurant he would recommend, he told us he did not eat Indian food. Oh dear not a good start. He said however he took more people to and from The Gandhi than all the other restaurants put together. We thought if someone who does not eat Indian food said it was the most... More

We went here for a midweek lunch. It wasn't actually open but when one of the staff saw me he opened up for us. It was worth it. The food was lovely. The Raja Puri was delicious as was the lamb chana and the biryani. I would recommend booking a table if going for lunch midweek out of peak season... More

Called in without a booking (not peak), and were seated easily. Service was offhand, but the food was good. We ordered poppadoms, prawn Dhansak and chicken Tikka, pilau rice and garlic naan. The food was plentiful, piping hot and tasty. And the meal was reasonably priced. There is some on-street parking, but didn't notice if there was a specific car... More

Visited while staying in the local area as a group of 5 . On arrival , we were greeted and shown to our table , asked if we would like to order a drink while we browsed the menu . We all ordered starters , the chef himself delivered them to our table which was a nice touch . All... More

Mrs.S had never had a sit-down Indian meal before. NEVER. Choosing cautiously, she went for the Chicken Tikka Masala, while I went for the Chef's Special. Whilst the Tikka was first-rate, in a thick sauce - the Special was wonderful - tasty, not too spicy, with well-cooked meats and vegetables that were among the very finest Indian cuisine I've had... Absolutely love The Gandhi, me and my partner have visited regularly for our date nights! The main courses are delicious every time however our food always gets cold very quickly so now we get takeaway so we can heat it up at home!
