The Dog and Doublet made an ideal start and finish to a walk I led for a group of 16. As a result of prior agreement, the management allowed us to leave our cars in the car park while we went on our walk and...More

Lunch was absolutely perfect (cheese & ham bagette, salad & crisps, Guiness & Prosecco) contemporary surroundings (including canal side location) would most certainly recommend & would not hesitate to re-visit if in the vicinity, try it yourself, don't think you would be disappointed.

Walked up the canal to this pub for lunch. I have never heard such happy staff. Singing coming from the kitchen was really funny. Very good steak and Stilton pie and great value.
