We called in for a late family lunch (6 of us), service was ok, we have been before and service is not special here. We ordered 5 burger meals and 1 mixed starter dish. Meals arrived a little late but no issue with this, what was a surprise was that we ordered 4 New York burgers at £9.45 each and... More

This is the only place that we know of to go for a meal in Taunton where there is an indoor play area so we often pop in for lunch or dinner. The play area is £3 per child for 90 minutes play, this is extended free of charge if the play area isn't at full capacity though and is... More

I was staying at the Premier Inn next door and had previously booked a table for 7pm. It was important to me to eat and retire early as I had a triathlon event in Exmoor the next morning meaning a 4:30 wake up. It took 10 minutes to even acknowledge me when I arrived awaiting my seat, then was plonked... More

I must say I have had poor experiences in this place in the past but to be fair, it was ok, a couple of issues were, the bar/food ordering areas are muddled, customers are sitting in between the two order points causing confusion as to were you order a drink or were you order your meals A second issue was... Must say after looking at reviews was a little worried checking in at Premier mentioned this to receptionist and she said that Brewers Fayre had been working very hard to rectify the problems, well they have. We where welcomed by a very nice lady who took us to a nice clean quiet table gave us the menu and told us... More

Took my family to this pub for a meal on Sunday evening - been loads of times before - but what a disappointment. The place was filthy - the chairs were stained and some were threadbear, the floor was covered in bits of food, the table was sticky and when my daughter asked for a cloth to wipe off the... More

The food was good not great but good. The buffet idea is good for families or big eaters but, Its upsetting when they say kids eat free as I am sure they just spread the cost across everyone's meals even if you don't have kids. I don't have kids and don't want to feed them all.

Service OK but not brilliant. Had our dogs with us so we sat in the garden - couldn't find a table that was sturdy, they all had weak joints and the garden could have done with a bit of litter picking! Food (lasagne) was, again, OK but nothing to write home about. The one saving grace was the lovely waitress... More

Popped in with a friend and children - it's cheap and cheerful but the food is fine and the play area is great for keeping little ones entertained!

In here right now chairs are gross. So bad that bacteria is growing on them. Understaffed, all clean chairs reserved tables left dirty and uncleared. Play area so hot the children have melted. Going back to Glastonbury Brewers to eat. Need to go home and have a shower first. Poor quality lighting. Lager is OK served in correct glasses. 1/10
