By far my favourite restaurant. Always return back and the staff are a credit to the restaurant treat the customers like royalty and ensure satisfaction is maintained. Food is delicious and the best in town. The best steak in West Yorkshire and the prices are very reasonable. MUST VISIT if your local you won't be let down.

This is one of the loveliest restaurants I have ever been to. Not only is the building itself stunning and steeped in history and splendour; but the food, staff and ambience are absolutely delightful. Thank you so much to our waiter this evening (table upstairs by the fireplace). So refreshing to be served by someone who is genuinely passionate about... More

Lovely food, unobtrusive service, nice buzz. Looked upstairs & it seemed even nicer. Only comment being that we were right next to the kitchen - will ask to go upstairs next time

Visited here last night with our friends. Very cosy, seated downstairs which was fine. The service was spot on, not rushed, seated at 8 and left around 10.15. The staff were very polite. We all had starters; mackeral, duck salad, and pate, mains were all steak - cooked to perfection. Deserts were mouthwatering! We could actually hold a conversation which... More

We had our 40th wedding anniversary party at the cowshed and it was wonderful, there was a large party around 25 in total and we all were served together, no waiting for dishes to arrive. It was brilliant. Staff excellent and the welcome is always great!

Atmosphere is warm and friendly shame no draught beer - has to be bottles - food is really lovely, however sometimes we come away (we are regulars) thinking that was a bit pricey. We do keep going back though!!

We went as a family of 6, teenagers, my parents husband and l. All the meals were lovely, we all had steaks and all were cooked from rare through to well done. The service was really good, efficient but we weren't rushed at all. We were seated upstairs which we liked better (we have previously been once before and sat... More

If your a steak person, blue or well done, then your prayers are answered! We've never had a bad steak and they listen to your cooking instructions. With a great menu, staff and atmosphere, what a fab place to dine. If you want a quite peaceful place where you can talk without raising your voice, well that's the cherry on... More

I am not a steak person so I panicked when I was taken here. However o was given the most amazing steak which has definitely changed my mind and I now regularly eat steak. I would definitely recommend this place,it's a small romantic restaurant with lots of charm and character
