Dragged here by a relative I have been here twice but have since refused to go. Back to the 80s as regards decor and attitude. Really poor feel to the dining space. Yes there is as some have said a fairly full plate but the menu says dull food and delivers. We had to prompt for every thing but the... More

We were a group of 6 adults eating here on NewYears Eve for the 7th year running, and we were not disappointed. The meal as always been excellant and good value for money, the staff always pleasant and helpful and the drinks not over priced. This year for three courses+coffee and mince pies the price was £19.95, whereelse could you get... More

Having experienced many many eateries over the years for our Christmas Day Dinner, I have to say that The Grange excelled absolutely all of them by a mile!!! The food was exquisite - perfectly cooked and in perfect proportions, with every attention to detail in the presentation. Hat's off to the Chef/kitchen staff!!! We were served in a very timely... Our first visit to The Grange,we were staying with friends and called for sunday lunch on our way home. Warm welcome, clean and lovely meal. The plate had plenty of meat and yorkshire pudding served with dishes of fresh vegetables and more gravy. We were too full to have dessert. Will call again when we visit our friends.

Just got home after visiting the Grange and felt this gem of a pub deserved a review. There's ample parking and the pub is really clean, bright and the staff very welcoming. My Mum was going to order the salmon fillet but it had sold out so she plumped for the beer battered fish and chips which she said was... More

I attended a birthday party held in the function room of this establishment, and would recommend anyone thinking of holding a party there go elsewhere. Expensive, terrible buffet and aggressive and rude staff. The hostess was practically reduced to tears after the owner demanded an extra £90 as an apparent 'room charge', which she had not been informed of before,... More

We were booked to eat at the Grange (twenty of us) so assumed if we had given them plenty of warning that there was so many of us in the birthday reservation that they would cope with all of us. We ordered our food and I personally had to wait just over an hour before I got my meal, my... More

Called here for a meal after visiting the Coal Mining Museum. Food was hot and tasty with a variety of choice. Would recommend.
