Lunch

Stopped off for lunch before hitting the sales. So pleased we found this place a really gem - food and drink lovely - will definitely be back. Only negative highchair broken so had to feed little one his lunch in pushchair and chips were way to salty.

Calamari like rubber. Meatballs as hard as canon balls. Fobbed off with second rate baileys drink. It's gone down hill a lot since I was last there. Won't be going there again. Beware.

Excellent choice of either Spanish tapas or Greek mezze. Food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is bustling. We've been once or twice so we know that it can get very busy. The one thing that I'm not keen on is that food is ordered at the bar, although I know that thisis not untypical,I like a more intimate full... More

I went to the tapas bar for the first time for food on a thursday lunch time in December during the christmas rush. Its a lovely unique venue and nice change from some of the other places I've eaten in around Darlington. We had a beef dish and chicken dish between us from the lunch time specials menu, one with... The choice of food was excellent and the quality of the wine matched it very well. Both the greek and the spanish dishes were all great quality (and quantity!) and consistently so (we tried about 14 different dishes). The one negative point was the slippy floor as noted by another reviewer, but overall we were very impressed.

Having been a fairly regular customer myself over the years, it has become a family favourite for meals out after introducing my family to it. We have always had thoroughly enjoyable food and had very good service. Some places can become complacent with customers who they think will return regardless, but I/we have never felt this. A particular favourite from... More

Serious Health and Safety issues with a lethal, greasy floor which continued up the stairs and into the toilets... Scruffy table placed next to the disabled toilets entrance didn't exactly match the atmosphere created by their website. Lukewarm, overpriced finger food, dim lights not sure what we were really eating. Service appalling, cutlery dumped on table amongst drink spillages and... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave your valued feedback. We can only apologise if you did not enjoy your tapas experience. With regards to the issue of the slippery floor, we were aware of the slight issue for a couple of days over a very wet Christmas period and have taken action to prevent this happening again. All...
