My fiancé and I visited yesterday evening after traveling from Salisbury where we are holidaying for a week. We arrived just as they were opening and were met by a friendly "hello" from a very pleasant member of staff. We both ordered the deep fried sprats and the whole plaice with chilli and noodles followed by a mixed desert. The... More

We visited recently after hearing consistently good reviews from friends. The restaurant had a really warm ambience and I loved the food. I had the Goan fish curry. You could taste how fresh the ingredients were. Everything was just delicious - we'll definitely return.

Thanks for another great meal. For anyone looking for a charming little restaurant right by Poole Quay, with a warm and friendly welcome from Paolo and his team look no further. The food was first class again with attentive service and a great ambience. We were very impressed and will certainly return! I went for the cod and rarebit with... More

The last time we wet to Storm for dinner we were disappointed because the fish was not up to their usual standard, my wife likes the Sea bass ,so we gave the restaurant a miss for a couple of months. But on impulse we went back and had dinner . I had cracked crab and my wife had sea bass... More

According to the Sunday Papers their claim to fame is the use of fish caught by the proprietor that day. That may be true but the rest of the experience is average. Nothing awful - just everything acceptable. But pricey for what it is.

Went here whilst on a visit to the area. The restaurant was quiet but welcoming. Food was super. Really well cooked. I had a Goan fish curry, fish cooked beautifully, spicing subtle but very genuine. My partner had cod with Welsh rarebit topping, this was delicious - again, cod cooked beautifully. Would recommend.

The proportion was huge, but still very tasty (albeit very messy as you had to eat with fingers) but ample of napkins & lemon juice. An enjoyable experience

I ordered crevettes for starter. Tasty but why serve 4 crevettes? 5 or 6 would be reasonable. Main course was rib eye steak and chips - faultless. Pudding was citrus drizzle cake a little on the dry side. Wine by the glass was very good. A good meal but at £100 for two I guess I'm looking for something a... More

Having seen the restaurant featured on Ben Fogle's Harbour lives programme, we always promised ourselves a visit if ever we were in the area....travelling down from Yorkshire. We were not disappointed, choice, service & atmosphere were first class...would we go again...DEFINITELY.
