We stumbled on this delightful restaurant after we unable to book a table at the more famous fish restaurants in Poole at short notice. Can only say what a gem, we had a lovely meal, the fish was cooked perfectly, the oysters were the best my husband has ever eaten. The staff were friendly and very helpful and unlike other... More

Thought we would drop in early on our weeks stay in Poole, so as to check this restaurant for a possible dinner booking. It's quaint I'll say that and the limited lunch menu was a challenge. Has a good write up in general but we found most aspects décor, service and food quality only just above average, and nothing to... More

This restaurant is quite small but with a good buzz about it. The seating area is quite cramped when all tables are taken as they were when we visited. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and efficient and the choice of fish available was varied. The starters were well presented and the mains looked huge on the plate. There... More

This restaurant does some great fish dishes (both starters and main courses) and we found the food delicious. There was a very good choice and it was all cooked to a treat, You must try it!!

What a find! Great staff. Food is wonderful. So difficult to make a choice as I drooled at every dish that went past! I recommend cockles in chilli and lime for starters. My partners choice was antipasta which also was superb-a slight heat from chillies but not overpowering. I chose my favourite...scallops for mains whilst my partner had Goan Fish... More

The service was very poor, it was disjointed and unorganised. The menu was basic to say the least, an opportunity wasted. You could have oysters or prawns (that was the only shell fish on the menu) The baked cod was such a small portion it would have not satisfied a 6 year old. Take an angle grinder with you to... Ate here on a Friday night - the place was recommended by our B&B hosts. Not cheap, but neither was it overpriced. Attentive service, nice atmosphere and first rate fresh seafood. I saw some mixed reviews, but nothing wrong with our experience. If you want fresh locally sourced seafood, not drenched in batter, this is hard to beat! Table in... More

It's a while since we visited Storm and the quality and service are even better than we remember. Always happy, smiling staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. The food was superb - tried the cuttlefish to start which was a new experience and very nice. Plenty to choose from and reasonably priced for fresh fish. We will definitely be... More
