This small restaurant has it all really. Great location, great staff, excellent food, well presented & a good choice available. A definite place to go back to for something special but not at all pretentious

We love it here, I pop in nearly every week for a post walk coffee with my friends. If the weather is nice you can sit outside with your dog. If you'd like to go for a meal its wise to book as it can be very busy. The food is always great quality and the staff are very friendly... More

Hidden away, but a great place to call in for a casual drink, coffee or tea and cakes or if you book: for a great lunch or dinner. Ideal location for sitting out in sunny weather looking over the nearby water.

after a long walk popped in for a quiet coffee only to be told all the tables are booked for lunch you can sit here if your not going to be long, not quite the greeting you'd expect, service was then slow to serve the coffee, we left well in time for the booked guest. Would definitely book in advance... More

Sunday Lunch.on 5/6/2016--No Vegetarian option under mains. Fish&chips had V by it!!! Kitchen unhelpful when Queried. I thought we had seen the end of this discrimination against vegetarians.Really felt unwanted. It was like going back in time.Ended up with a poor salad. You would have expected the Kitchen to at least have been able to offer an Omelette---It was poor form on... Popped in for coffee and cake today, very tasty and a great location. Only one minor point, the service can be slow at times, even when it's not busy.. Won't stop me going there though!

We visited this secret café along the water's edge for lunch. It was hard to choose from the varied menu but dressed crab salad was superb. Very relaxed atmosphere and unpretentious. The restaurant/café is housed in a small cabin within the yacht club. Our first visit but certainly not our last.

As a regular who enjoys both the food and ambience.I very often go there solo or with friends..I have been known to go and sit in the bit at the front porch which in the past I've been able to sit with my little dog on various occasions. Enjoying a newspaper and soup or a main course followed by their... More
