Visited on recomendation for an evening meal. Welcomed by the bar staff as we entered the busy bar. Lovely atmosphere and a good choice of decent beers. The food , mainly fish, was excellent with prompt and friendly service. Thank you. We will return!

Came here after a friend recommended it. It was excellent seafood and brilliant service. There is a friendly and warming atmosphere in a pub-like setting. The menu is limited but the food is of the highest (& tastiest) quality. If you're in Poole and you like seafood this is the place to visit. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful lunchtime meal with two friends recently. Excellent prompt service from a lovely young lady who was polite and professional. It appeared nothing was too much trouble. We will be back!

What better way to warm yourself up than with a scrumptious haddock pot and a pint. Debbie and carl are so welcoming and friendly, Michelle was cooking and always does a fantastic job, chefs can adjust most dishes to suit any dietary needs, and the pub is always warm in the winter!

We had an evening meal at this fabulous pub which is covered in green tiles outside. East to find. Debbie and Dan looked after us on the evening. We had superb fish soup with bread for starters. A meal in itself. Followed by excellent homemade fish pie. Husband says the beer is good too. I opted for a lovely crisp... More

Nice range of seafood, the wife loves the prawn sandwich and I love the fish stew. If you want a snack plenty small dishes like sprats on toast. Beers okay

The green tiles cladding this very old pub may give an incorrect impression, but if you love fish and shellfish this is the best place on The Quay, with very competitive prices for the freshest food. Debbie and Kate are warm and friendly hosts and work hard to keep the customers happy. This is an historic pub and the furniture... More

Fish is the dish here. We had the smoked haddock dishes and they were excellent. The veg was slightly more al dente than I would have preferred but only a minor constructive criticism. We definitely recommend the Poole Arms on quality quantity and price.
