One of the annoying things with Trip Advisor is that there isn't anything between "average" and "very good". It is better than average but not good enough to be very good. That might be a little harsh, but it is a pub doing pub food & burgers rather than any fine dining. They did the food well, although my chips... More

We normally just have the burgers which are nice but had hunters chicken and a salad. Both very poor. I have sent a comment via email and offered a voucher this has not yet appeared.

For a mother with 3 kids it is not easy to find a friendly pub. I know, you might say kids and pubs don't combine, but sometimes you just need to go out all of you including hungry adults and kids in one group. I would not recommend to bring kids over after 9 pm though, but for breakfast, lunch... More

If you are coeliac or eating a gluten free food, be prepared to have very little choice. I was given the option of either the steak without the chips or chicken again without the chips yet was charge the full price full a full meal which I wasn't having. No options for gluten free vegetarians and no gluten free pudding... More

The final stop on a night out, it was packed outside and at the bar, but tables at the back were open. The bar seemed understaffed for such a busy night and drinks took a while to order. The music and energy was great though. Just a pity the waitress looked shocked and a bit put out when I asked... More

Came here for lunch on Sunday and sat o the terrace. Lovely little space. All our meals were good and enjoyed by all of us. We had a green King manager eating with us and he was impressed too.

Great lunch menu in pleasant setting, but don't bother going for dinner . The music is so loud you have to shout , and the staff didn't seem geared up for dinner bookings on a Saturday night . It's not a restaurant, it's a pub and they do pub well !!
