I had my birthday meal with my family at Isabels, and it was as great as ever. The food is brilliant, great service and lovely atmosphere. The new downstairs bar looks amazing leading to the new garden area. One of the best restaurants in Poole and would recommend to anyone.

i can't claim to be a regular customer, but I do visit it from time to time when in Poole so when some friends suggested going there I was quite keen, although I knew it had changed hands. The greeting was, as ever, warm but somewhat chaotic as we were first sent downstairs and then back up again to our... More

Disappointing 3rd visit. Booked a booth for special occasion six weeks in advance, and restaurant called same day to confirm. On arrival we were told there was no booth available! Offered a normal table which we don't like as they are to close and you can hear each other's conversations. We were asked to take a seat out back while... More

Very friendly staff. There are two sittings one at 6.30 and one at 8.30. We had the first one at 6.30. The food was excellent, the menu had a French twist which was a nice change. The only thing I didn't like was when you finished your meal you had to leave your table and have your coffee in the... More

What a delight.... This is such a unique little find. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. The food was delicious, I had the steak strips and heaps of sides! Attempted the cheese for desert and was delighted that I wasn't served just a slither, like many restaurants!! A lively selection of wine and spirits... A genuine little treasure!!

Ate here as a party of 10 from work. Recommended by our hotel (Landmark East Cliff in Bournemouth). Blimey they know their restaurants as this place was excellent. Quirky old fashioned interior with lots of dark booths, chintz and dark wood - looked like a venue for a seance! The staff were so friendly and the food was just awesome!... More

A fabulous dining experience and definitely one of my favourite places to eat! Isabel’s have created a cosy, classy and romantic atmosphere. The food served is outstanding, consistent and always presented so well - I recommend trying the Supreme de Volaille Au Banane. The staff are extremely friendly and always go out of their way to help you. They have... More

We had a family meal at Isabel's , the food was fantastic, presentation was wonderful, but service was slow. One of the waitresses knew her stuff but the others were too slow, such a shame . Gluten Free was no problem at all and allergies were clearly marked on the menu, well done . Fantastic food for a special occasion.

Thank Krystina A
