Only been here before for a drink, so decided to come for lunch. Set in a lovely location on the other side of the waterfront, this is a really relaxing place to visit. The interior is modern and the is some outside seating with lovely views across the marina. The menu here is a bit limited but offers some nice... More

The last time I visited was a lunch time and I was not impressed. So when my friend said she had booked for our evening meal, I was apprehensive. My feeling was soon quashed when we were welcomed & shown to our table and looked after very well. We were told of the specials which were delicious. Nearly all of... More

I guess if you can't get great fish on the Ipswich Waterfront then it's a poor show, luckily The Last Anchor didn't disappoint. It's a bit of a trek (partly badly lit) from the town centre, and you look like you are going to a warehouse in the dark, but once there, the surroundings are welcoming and if you book... More

Have been years ago and had a wonderful meal, but was really disappointed In the food this time. We had a set course Mother's Day lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean and very well presented. We were just let down with the food. The meat was delicious but for a Sunday roast the Yorkshire... More

We visited the marina as we are planning to move our new boat here, so had lunch to see what it is like. We shared a starter of mussels. Then had a main course each. All were very tasty, nicely prepared and presented.

Came here for a colleagues birthday. Choice was really good, price for the quality of food was amazing and staff were friendly and helpful. For those of us who require gluten free food it is always a comfort when you hear "anything on the menu can be adapted". Granted, I have heard this from a couple of eateries where that... More

A great place to meet. We chose between our group soup and a variety of omelettes. Food was delicious, and coffee good. The service was on the slow side, but if you are not in a hurry you can take in the waterside view
