Mariners is French restaurant on a boat moored in Ipswich dock. Specialising in modern-ish French style food, beautifully cooked at reasonable prices it's a splendid place for lunch (I have dined there in the evening but many pre-TripAdvisor years ago ...). The staff are very...More

This is such good value! The waiting staff ( Hugo) was great, attentive just right. The food menu was varied and very reasonable for the quality of food. The wine list was well balanced and sensibly priced. The views over the marina were lovely. The...More

As told in some other reviews, this was a formal and 'stuffy' restaurant before, now it is not so much at all. Whether this is a good or a bad thing would depend on your taste. My wife and I prefer the formal style of...More

What a difference new owners make. What was once a slightly stuffy, formal restaurant is now a very relaxed, comfortable venue with a cool gallic vibe. Food excellent, price very reasonable and staff delightful. Merveilleux!
