I had visited this restaurant quite a few times before and it was great , but on this occasion everything tasted tasteless , I hope this is a one off or the chef had gone on holiday. But will go back as I love this place ..

Lovely place for a family day, nice atmosphere, many coffee shops. Lots of boats, even a restaurant on boat. Also good for a night out, cool pubs

unusual experience eating outside on v. old boat moored in the harbour. Food excellent and we had v. nice evening, although slightly marred by some unnecessary behaviour from other guests which is v. unfortunate as this is not the 'norm'!! Food, service and ambience excellent.

Consistently good French restaurant with friendly staff in great location. Very tasty and well presented dishes. Good choice of menu's. Complimentary iced tap water. Good house wines and excellent choice of speciality wines. Have come to this restaurant now for many years and it never disappointed. Recommended.

Always have a lovely meal here, waiters provide top service and are all very friendly. Food is superb and reasonably priced along with a great view of the docks on a sunny evening.

My husband and I were given a meal for two as a Christmas present from our friends. I was quite dubious for a couple of reasons, don't like boats and not a lover of French cuisine. However when we finally plucked up the courage to book a table and throw caution to the wind, lol we were pleasantly surprised. The... More

Four of us went for a celebration meal. We have never been before or knew anyone who had been. We all had 3 courses and all 3 were enjoyed by us all. A good choice of wine at various prices with some at a reasonable cost. The food was well presented and very tasty. Hope to go back again.

During a 3 night stay at the Salthouse Harbour Hotel, we treated ourselves to a meal at the Mariners Restaurant. It was a lovely meal in a beautiful setting. Great service and will visit again if we are in the area.

This truly is our very special place, we go here whenever there is a celebration. The food is wonderful, although not overpriced, and boat itself, a converted Dutch barge, is such a special venue. The staff are the best. The location moored alongside the Marina in Ipswich is dreamlike. I fyou visit, you will never forget.
