I'd been working in Ipswich for two years before I found the Museum Street Cafe (thanks to a friend's recommendation). It's tucked away just a stone's throw from the main shopping street, and easy to walk straight past- but if you stop and duck inside you'll fine one of the best eateries in Ipswich. I'm now a regular (they'll do... More

If you're a foodie, you must try this place. There really is something for everyone, whatever their diet (veg,vegan,gluten/dairy free etc). It was fresh and plentiful. Great for coffee and cake too.

Great place for a vegan lunch. With a minimum of three vegan options and lots more if you're veggie. They do an amazing vegan syrup cake too.

Give yourself a treat and experience this unique vegetarian café which is better than most restaurants. The flavours are fantastic and you don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy a freshly prepared meal. The service is especially good and friendly and if you are in a hurry you can be in and out in 30 minutes or take as... More

This is a real gem just off the High Street. All food is vegetarian/vegan and freshly prepared each day with wholesome and tasty ingredients. Fantastic value for money and soooo much better than pub grub or fast food chains. My only criticism is that I think they need to decorate and give it more of an atmosphere as it is... More

Simple eating area but pleasant & relaxing. Good choice of fresh meals, difficult to decide as also attractive to the eye. Healthy too!

We saw online that they are open until 4:30pm on a Saturday, so went in at 2:35pm for some lunch. Only one other table was taken, so we sat down and waited a bit. After a while the man behind the counter told us they only do lunches to 2:30pm, so we left to go to somewhere else. It was... More

Ipswich is fairly bereft of vegetation choice so the fact this place serves such nice fayre is a massive bonus. Both myself and daughter (the proper vegetarian) had great tasting food, though I think my red lentil dahl was marginally better than her pasta.

This is one of my favourite places for lunch in Ipswich. The food is delicious and different from the food you get elsewhere. The menu has been different every time I have been. You sit at scrubbed pine tables, perhaps next to someone you've never met before, part of it's charm. The service is friendly and they get to know... More
