Having just moved to Ipswich I'm looking for good restaurants to eat at. This is one that I will be returning to quite often. I hadn't booked a table but as we went early were able to have one. The service was excellent as was the food. Looking forward to going back again.

Got a korma and dupaiza takeaway with naans and trimmings. On the upside, the food was of good quality ingredients and freshly cooked and the portions were very generous. on the downside we found it rather bland and lacking in "spicyness". Also it was not very hot. Needed a boost in the microwave after a short trip home. Value was... More

Visit here every month when I am in Ipswich, food never fails to impress. My Favourite is the sizzler dishes, either with Chicken or pannier Tikka. Portions are generous and always arrive in a timely manor & are piping hot. Nann breads are good too, garlic chilli being top of the list. For staters you can't go wrong with a... More

Indian restaurant on the average. Food was fine but nothing special. We took few plates and was good quality but not unforgettable. Vegetarian starter deserve a special mention instead, was tasty and well prepared. Environment is very traditional and cool. Service is not perfect but the place is often busy.

Good menu, and very nice food. The evening was however spoils by being rushed and repeatedly being asked if we wanted more to drink, having already said we didn't. We had barely been given the menu when we were asked what we wanted to order and twice we within a couple of minutes we had to say we hadn't chosen.... More

Another very enjoyable visit to Zaika Ipswich last night. The lady owner is a fantastic host....very welcoming & genuine. The same goes for her attitude on the phone, when returning reservation request messages. Ambience, food, staff are all first class. Looking forward to seeing the ground floor extension, which is currently being worked on. (This doesn't affect the existing venue... More

A small and a little cramped but nicely kept restaurant.. Service was prompt and friendly. The menu is pretty standard. I had a vegetarian rogan which was substantial, with a good variety of veg and good spices - very enjoyable. Usual drinks menu. Nothing to disappoint and of its type very good - I do not thing you would be... More
