Great place, great landlady

Visited yesterday with my wife and mother. We had our two small dogs with us so I popped my head in first to ask if it was ok to bring them in. We were warmly greeted and felt really at home. The food was good, honest pub fare, and the drink selection was good. Thanks guys! We'll be back if... read more

Good pub grub, traditional ales, friendly staff, and a lovely chilled out atmosphere. The pub was traditional, warm and friendly. I had the pate which was lovely, it came with a bit of a salad and a lovely onion chutney, i wish the portion was bigger but that is only because it was so nice. The pate cost £5. My... More

On a cold Thursday we deceided to pop into the Queen Vic for a quick spot of lunch. The specials board looked enticing so we both went for the Steak & Welsh Ale pie with seasonal vegetables which came with a choise of chips, boiled or mashed potatoes. We were pleased that pie pie was a proper one with top,... More

My wife and I came to Llandudno for a quiet weekend away, we brought our dog with us as we intended to do lots of walking and exploring around the great Orme. After hours of walking fighting unpredictable weather, we felt completely spent so we stopped the this place as an off chance simply because they allowed dogs inside, we're... More

I do not know what this pub would be like in the holiday season but at new year it is a place worth visiting, not crowded by any means but a lively atmosphere for sure. I will have to return to find out what the food is like but as a place to go to for a sociable evening it's... More

Old fashioned style pub with usual choices on food menu at reasonable prices. We were in early, so it was fairly quiet, but can probably get quite lively.

My wife and I escaped this year and booked a new years eve 6 course meal, my wife has a number of food allergies and this can be very restrictive but not at the queen vic. They went through the menu and adjusted it to suit , this made our night , the sea bass had no bones at all... More

Lovely staff but meal disappointing. Expensive at £25.00 for a 3 course meal after which coffee was extra. Very basic roast turkey with all the trimmings which was tasteless . The lemon meringue pudding was mainly cream with lemon flavoured something . Vastly over priced for a sub standard meal. I would not go there again to eat. Not disabled... More
