My dad had an evening meal and said the food was excellent. We had the breakfast and that was from an extensive menu and extremely good, with vegetarian options.

We had booked a table for lunch and at very short notice we had to change the time. This was done brilliantly with no hint of it being an inconvenience or fuss. It was very busy and had a short wait in reception but we were acknowledged and our coats were taken and shown to our table. As it was... More

We called here after a walk and cannot say how much we enjoyed the afternoon tea. Everything was fresh and home made and tea for two would have fed four of us. Nothing was too much trouble , we had fresh tea with the sandwiches which came separate to the cakes, then the tea was refreshed to have with the... More

We went to this restaurant after friends recommended it and we were not disappointed. There was an excellent menu at reasonable prices. The quality of the food was first class. The service also was excellent. After the lunch we relaxed in the lounge which has a pleaant view out to sea. We will return..

The hotel were very flexible as two of the party wanted full lunch and two only a small lunch. The food and service was excellent, they even had a special New Year's Day lunch menu to choose from. We almost opted for the afternoon tea as it looked divine.

We were staying at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant and were more than pleasantly surprised. The menu was truly excellent with some great dishes made with local lamb and salmon. The traditional prawn cocktails were excellent as was the pate and warm goat cheese to start. We tried the lamb, salmon, sea bass, venison and duck and... More
