Plenty of different choices, with a wide variety of different meals choices. Quality of food was high, with decent portion sizes.

Advise booking for busy times. 10 of us booked for dinner, everyone enjoyed the food, everyone had something different and all empty plates. Good for pub food- not too "fancy", menu changes regularly and always a decent selection of specials, good options for vegetarians.

Four of us ate at the Albert. I had the lamb roast with red wine reduction (good for celiacs), scalloped potatoes, and perfectly cooked vegetables. Delicious! Others had the roast turkeys, braised beef, and smoked haddock. All enjoyed their meals. Would highly recommend.

We tried this place last minute as our evening plans changed due to where we were staying. The food was tasty, good portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was so busy we almost didn't get a table. Booking us recommended if you know this is where you're going to eat.

Great food with friendly staff. Recommend booking at busy periods to avoid disappointment. We have been at really busy times have to wait a while but food piping hot.

We went to The Albert on Sunday for our Lunch, one of our many visits here,we had Homemade Steak and Ale pie which is my favourite meal here, the portion size is plentiful,to much for me,but one of the family members finished mine off,it was absolutely delicious, you get loads of veg with this and ample gravy, they always tell us to ask if... This hotel was a great find for evening meal. We dined there on Wednesday night, first class meal. We decided to go again on Thursday and Friday. Was not disappointed. Fantastic menu, great food, staff are excellent as well. Bar has good range of ales. Albert was very busy every night which means the food must be good. Would advise... More

A friend and I popped in for a quick pint. Nice looking pub, friendly staff. Over £8 for a couple of pints is a little pricey for North Wales though

The pub was close to our hotel and was recommended to us. Very friendly staff and locals, we were made to feel welcome. At first look, the menu seemed a bit pricey, but when the food arrived, it was all home made and fresh (we had fish cakes and curry), so we felt it was good value.

Oh wow the ales and food are something else. Don't need to eat tomorrow. Very healthy portion sizes. Totally scrummy!!! Staff were amazing... polite, friendly and just the right balance of humour. Fantastic service!
