Great to sit at many outside tables and watch the world go by. Leffe Belgian beer and mussels for lunch is a delight. As the hotel I stayed at did dinner included this was a nice lunch option, though there is a good menu.

My husband enjoys mussels so we decided to try this restaurant. Starters were okay... My husbands mussels were tasteless and defiantly not fresh as described .... chips he had with them were re-cooked and horrible..... I ordered salmon pasta and had to send it back as it tasted of oil and was swimming in it.... they offered me another main... More

Went here for late meal, lovely atmosphere, great service from a very nice waiter who recommended various options for us including the specials menu. Enjoyed the live entertainment Jazz that evening, although not to loud that you could hold a conversation. Definitely will go again.

Went in for a drink. drinks fine. No food because of rip off drink prices. atmosphere seemed ok. asked for the bill, waited ages ( not busy). Bill extortionate £9.50 for glass of wine. when we challenged the bill, told ' that's the price'. Never again.

Popped in here for a quick drink to get out of the pouring rain ! What a disappointment - one half had picnic tables to sit on the other proper table & chairs ,odd!! We had three cast beers and one lemonade . The beers were tame in taste and cloudy -lacked flavour great shame .As for the lemonade it... More

A recent meal at this restaurant was disappointing in comparison to previous visits (perhaps a couple of years ago). The moules were strangely shrivelled and tasteless, maybe they had been pre-cooked or even frozen. Chips were flabby. Other dishes did not impress. Sadly we will not be returning anytime soon even though the beer/ lager is great. Needs improvement.

Was there for lunch today and the ladies ordered a white wine spritzer. I was astounded when the bill showed separately a charge for the white wine plus an extra charge for the soda. Ridiculous to be charged two items for one drink! Also my chicken milanese was a disappointment having been cooked in a deep fat fryer, totally ruined... More

Visited this pub one Saturday night, there was a live singer playing out side amongst the out door seating. The pub has its own micro brewery, was given samples before choosing. Wow what lovely beer it was. would recommend this pub for great atmosphere ,location and the beer. also does food but did not eat here.

Great atmosphere, delightful seafood, friendly service at the right pace,no rushing, and you get a splendid evening. Loved this place. One minor downside is that the toilets are down a flight of stairs, so for me who has mobility problems, not good. Maybe the place does need to invest in a more accessible toilet. Other than this, it was a... More
