We enjoyed a lovely eating experience at Mirabelle for my husband's birthday. We were joined by our friends and we are all 'foodies'. My lobster cocktail was fab and we all enjoyed the cuisine. The waiters were lovely and attentive but not intrusive which we all liked.

Everything you would expect in terms of quality, food and service in a truly outstanding hotel which is probably the best hotel on the South coast.

We were absolutely blown away with the food. The service was excellent, very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Perfect for romantic occasions. All I can say is that I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in London and around the world and this restaurant matches them if not beats them on service, food and price. So happy we... More

We had dinner here on Sat 6th August 2016 and have to say what an amazing dining experience. This restaurant has very high standards which is reflected in the tables and decor through to the knowledgable staff who are attentive but not overbearing, professional and seek perfection in everything they do from advising you on which wine to have with... Dinned here on both nights of our 2 night stay. Atmosphere is old fashioned grandeur, dress code is jacket and collared shirts for gentlemen. Excellent menu, both A La Carte and Table D'Hote both with traditional and locally sourced food. Menu changes regularly. Extensive wine list, help offered when choosing. Desserts come with recommended wines sold by the glass.

Having eaten out is many restaurants in Eastbourne this is the only one that would come close to gaining a Michelin star , food , service and a wine list that isn't over the top in price

This is a dining experience that will be long remembered for all the right reasons. An excellent choice available from the menu, complemented by a very good wine list. The restaurant is relatively small, only 18 tables, but spacious, with each table well clear of the rest. On Saturday evening there was an excellent pianist. One really positive point for... More

It is well worth seeking out the more intimate Mirabelle as opposed to The Grand's rather cavernous sister Garden Room restaurant. I have had the pleasure of the £26 set lunch menu on two occasions and both were faultless. The fish choices for both starter and main courses were fresh, perfectly cooked and quite beautifully presented. The cheese selection was... More

We have been to several of the themed evenings, some of which have been truly memorable, particulalrly the one pairing german food with german wines. We are truly looking forward to the next evening based on Bordeaux. The servic eis impeccable, and you are really made to feel an honoured guest. The reception room feels a bit small and tucked...
