Best Coffee Shop in Eastbourne. Friendly staff, fantastic cakes and homemade soup. Never disappointed.

Stopped at Urban Ground for a bite while shopping in Eastbourne town Centre. I am a frequent visitor to Eastbourne but had never eaten here. It's known as a coffee place but I had the best pot of tea I have had in a while, a rich tasting loose leaf blend, nice and hot. Also avocados and chili on sourdough... More

We arrived late last Saturday after Airbourne approaching closing time, but were nonetheless welcomed warmly and conversation flowed. The coffee was excellent and the space was relaxed and contemporary, with a red and black colour scheme. A definite place to return to when next in Eastbourne.

I have come here for coffee and for lunch on many occasions. The food coffee and service is consistently great. The home made soups are particularly good and you can sit in the sunshine!!!!!

If we're in Eastbourne, this is the coffee shop we'll try first. Excellent coffee, good selection of teas, and pastel de nata to die for (if you're not too late!). Only trouble is that it can be quite busy...Always friendly and lunches delicious.

We come here regularly. Best coffee house in Eastbourne. Food is good, varied choice. Paninis, sarnies, soup, flatbreads, scones, tea cakes etc. All very tasty. Cakes are brilliant. Normally 4/5 to choose from and different types on most visits. Coffee superb. Also do fruit smoothies which are top notch. Highly recommend.

I go here regularly and the flatbread pastrami and pickles and a cappuccino is always my choice as it's just so good. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Sometimes go to the one in the Towner art gallery if I can't be bothered to go into town .
