We were +/-100 people visiting "Gaffel & Karaffel" and got a really good "taco table" with a nice variety of meat, shrimps, salads+++. Nice service from the personnel working there and I can recommend the food. The only negative thing was the PA system they...had, where a singer had to do it all acoustic, where he just couldn`t manage to get the PA working.More

We were a family of 3 that visited the restaurant a Saturday evening, third year in a row. We had the traditional Norwegian dish Lutefisk. The lutefisk was perfectly cooked and all food was very nice and with two servings, Friendly and service minded staff.

I was lucky enough to have the most delicious lunch here last week with my boyfriend. the starter we shared was simple and yet amazing. a flat bread with a local cheese and caramalized onions.. oh so devine. I chose a vegetarian main of the...cauliflower steak. I make this at home fairly often but this one was delicious. and I shall certainly be trying to recreate for myself. The best kind of compliment is to attempt to remake. We could not fault the food nor the service which was attentive and yet still unobtrusive. I can't wait to go back next time I am in Stavanger.More

I’m not a big eater and I don’t like to leave food on my plate. Even if it is cheap. But this is the first restaurant that perfectly suited my needs, even if it is a bit more expensive for the amount of food I...took the scampi’s and they were delicious! Got warned in advance for the hot sauce and was presented a very nice wine to complete my meal. If i’m back in Stavavanger, I will definately try the other dishes!!More

We were early, and the restaurant was empty, but we looked at the menu and took a chance. Glad we did. The service was exceptional, and the food was great. I was especially glad to see vegetarian options on the menu as this had been...a problem in other locations in Norway. The wait staff was solicitous of our requests. The food was lovingly prepared and very fresh.More

The restaurant is very centrally located and it’s great to people-watch from the terrace on a sunny day. The food is very well prepared and tasty but the salad is certainly more like an appetizer than a full meal dish.
