Bad place I hated it I knew some time ago that Norway was full of water and rocks. Bad beer. And big ugly guys. Well. It’s confirmed. Good. Foiled sheep head. Kumla. But. If that’s what is wanted by some. Thrn. Good

Once again there is a new high class restaurant in Stavanger. We got the impression that this is some more or less young entusiastic people that want to make a difference in the gourmet area of Stavanger. And they do. With a combination of flavours,...spycies and food they create something new and exciting. And with a innovative wine pairing they make a very special experience! We will come back.More

Booked table 4 weeks in advance. Read their homepage. Had very high expectations upon arriaval. I have visited allot of high rated restaurants but the performance the 3 owners serving us was outstanding. I was a different restaurant than we have visited before. The food...and wine and mjød was was as described on their website. Vegtables had focus, and the taste of all courses where to be remembered. I felt priviledged to visiting your place.More

Sol works to a set menu, so there’s no choice. That said, who needs choice, when the selection of food is as good as this! Top notch ingredients, superbly cooked and presented - and their gluten-free bread was easily the best I’ve had in a...restaurant. Service was 100% and the accompanying wines were an eye-opener - I’ve not been exposed to natural wines before, and I was impressed. And the mead with the last course - well - simply stunning! If you’re in Stavanger with a spare evening, don’t miss this one.More

What a pleasant surprise to find fine dining without exorbitant prices or a stuffy atmosphere. The food was innovative, fresh, local and so creatively presented that it was almost too good to eat. it was so lovely to have the owners as servers and to...be able to watch the detailed attention the chefs give to preparing the meals. The wine pairings were exquisite and it was fun to hear the origins of each wine. Even the homemade lemonade was divine! They easily accommodated our vegetarian and fish allergy requests and came up with unique substitutes. The atmosphere with wooden tables and simple chairs fits with their "return to nature" theme and the noice level is suitable. Plenty of space between tables. Portions are adequate and not tiny. You don't leave feeling full but satiated. Overall, a brilliant experience in our city and one which we hope to recreate soon. As foodies who have travelled worldwide to 6 different continents, this meal ranks as one of our finest food experiences. Congratulations and see you soon!More

This is a resutant for foodlovers. You can get very good food many places, but it takes excellent dedicated chefs with a passion to create the things that comes out of this kitchen. I look forward to my next visit. I am still a little...new to the natural wines so I will not take the wine package, but that is in no way a deal breaker for me.More

The restaurant boasts only one set menu. No choices. Not cheap, but the attention to detail and the use of regional products makes this restaurant so worth while. Excellent and knowledgeable service. Please try and be amazed.

5-6 dishes at 500 nok - surpisingly refined food containing little meat and more greens, with new combinations of tastes.

Very good service, friendly staff explaining all characteristics of every single dish (even with too much emphasis sometimes :-) ) . We tasted the beer to accompany the food and it was excellent. Of course, Norwegian prices...
