I stayed in the hotel and took cruise in the midnight of second day. So easy to have dinner in Maki, which is located at the restaurant. I had 6 course tasting menu and my hubby had 4 course one. The restaurant adjusted the portion so that you won't consume too much even for 6 courses. Food are very nice... More

All good, nowhere in Norway is cheap. Staff friendly. The table looked out into little harbour. Lots of lovely flavours on the plate, making the meal tasty.

We were so looking forward to eating here as it was fully booked and we had reservation. Four course dinner was fine. I ordered the special of the day, halibut. However, the pesto sauce was so salty that I had to scrape them off. I wish the chef actually tasted the dish to ensure the saltiness of the food was... More

We know Norway is pricey so this wasn't a cheap two course dinner but it was absolutely delicious -couldn't fault the food or the service

We were shown to probably the worst table in the restaurant by a waitress who left menus and said she would be back. She never came back. After a long wait another waitress took our order and to be fair the food was good. However, having finished the main course nobody came to take a desert order and eventually we... More

Alesund is a beautiful city with many attractions, but this restaurant alone is worth the visit! Located in the charming Brosundet hotel, the restaurant served one of the best seafood meals I have ever experienced. A four course fixed menu based on the catch of the day was our choice, and all was prepared and served by friendly young staff.... More

Most delicious meal we have had in Norway so far. Delicious fish, yummy soup and great wine. Friendly and helpful staff, and the chef made a special meal for my 18month old daughter. Beautiful location, it was a relaxing dinner after a stressful rainy day.

Hard to locate the place. No signs on the street. You need to enter the hotel and ask reception. We wanted to try whale stake. Unfortunately only available with the set of 6 courses... too much for us. No luck this time. Had to go for catch of the day and fish soup. Both were absolutely delicious although could not... More
