Excellent choices on the menu and options of international and local cuisine. We had a special set menu of 5 courses which was good value for money but difficult to finish on the same day we started. Staff really attentive and helpful without fussing.

It is a good place for good classic food in a nice atmosphere and pleasant service. We had fresh fish and good Chablis wine. Will come back.

Not many people at 20 o´clock on a friday in august, so getting a table was no problem. Friendly service in an ok atmosphere, so it started out well. Ordered Hake, which was delicately served with good vegetables, but the accompanying potatoes were "forgotten", and arrived well into the meal. The fish was not as well prepared as I had... More

We arrived from Oslo late on a Friday evening and stumbled upon this place - what a find! It's one block from the theater , but on a side street, so the clientele tends to be local. Wonderful local specialties (the vegetables were outstanding!) at reasonable (for Bergen) prices.

Ended up here by accident on a recent trip to Sognefjorden and Bergen with relatives and friends from Australia (all foodies) and couldn't rave enough about them. Had an ordinary experience with Norwegian hospitality about 50m down the road. We were on a dropin but it was Wednesday, not yet peak season, after 20:30 and with only a half full... More

A restaurant with some creativity in the menu, mixing inspirations from various places. Unfortunately the dishes are relatively small. The vine card is interesting. And the service warm. Would try it again.

I have been here with a business partner and we had a starter, main course and dessert. The prices are: Starter: NOK 160 Main Course: NOK 290 Dessert: NOK 160 The service was friendly and quick. The starter soup was very good, the main course (Lamb) was only good because the plate looked a bit empty. I thought I will... More

This was the best meal we had on our visit to Norway. We wanted something a little special for the last night of our trip and had passed by the day before when it was closed (a Sunday) and were intrigued enough to seek it out. They have both fixed menus (3, 5, or 7 courses) and an à la... More

Ate here with SO last Friday. Starter was asparagus risotto with Gorgonzola cheese. This dish was great. Good consistency, enough blue cheese taste and clearly asparagus I had pan fried rock fish, which was well cooked and beautifully presented, with nicely cooked veg. Nothing overcooked. I liked it, but not special. SO had goose she thought was great. Not cheap,... More
