For starters I had "rak ørret", a type of fermented fish. It was Bett than expected. For the main course I had cod with potatoes and bacon. This was unremarkable. The service was excellent, I even got a second glass of wine in time for the cod. The ambience is very cozy and Hanseatic. I will definitely come again!

First the surroundings. The building is in the world heritage site, wooden buildings leaning in all different directions making it an interesting visual experience. The staff fluent in English and good humoured and excelled at making it a total experience. Somewhat surprisingly they seemed surprised at the main course I chose explained it in detail and then brought me a... More

We had an enjoyable meal at Enhjorningen. What a wonderful setting - the interior was vintage, the staff were welcoming and efficient and the food was excellent. We went for seafood and the menu gave us a good choice. The scallop starter was very pretty and well cooked. The halibut main was fresh and beautifully presented. We did have a... More

A 400-year-old building with crooked walls and vintage décor was the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The name translates as "Unicorn" and it was that special. We had a prix fixe three-course meal, beginning with fresh asparagus with hollandaise and Norwegian smoked salmon. The main was fabulous, fabulous halibut on fennel. Dessert was local strawberries (somehow they tasted better... More

Thank friends in TripAdvisor for your reviews that made me went to Enhjorningen. The restaurant is on the second floor of the yellow building with the unicorn in front of it. I loved everything here: warm atmosphere seemed like sitting in the old days, great foods, delicious and high quality, very good services. I recommended to you the scallop and... More

10 of us ate here and every one raved about this restaurant. We had made reservations and every thing was arranged nicely for us. I had the 2 fish plate (duo or pair, don't remember the name) and it could not have been better. Be sure to have the "brown cheese" ice cream - so different and also excellent.

Beautiful quaint place. Cozy and just immerse yourself in the history of this building. Imagining what it was like hundreds of years ago. The menu is predominantly fish but fresh and beautifully cooked to perfectiom. A bit expensive but worth a try.

A nice place in an old building from Bergen's Hanseatic times. The food is very good and so is service.

The starter, soup and main were all excellently prepared and cooked. The shrimp salad with butter toast was sublime. Not too heavy on the salad but delightfully complemented with lemon and the fragrant toast. The mussel soup was probably the best I ever had: mussels were cleanly washed yet retaining their sweetness and freshness. The broth was sparingly added with... More

I was here on a business trip and could test norvegian food for the first time in my life. We had a lot of fish, starting with a smoked whale carpaccio and everything was really good! Wine selection was fantstic with 2 white wines and an Italian ripasso really good. Dessert was fantastic. The location is great and you can... More
