We had the 4 course dinner menu and all courses were delicious. It felt very authentic and the portion sizes were just right.

We were staying at the hotel above the restaurant and decided to have a drink and starter at Bare Vestland before going to another restaurant for dinner. The staff were friendly and informed about the wine and food. The cured fish tapas and bread with...More

Hey Karen. Thank you so much for a nice review. I so glad you liked our restaurant. Come visit us again if ever in Bergen.

I came here for lunch, as friends had recommended the restaurant. I never actually got to eat there, however. Three members of staff left me standing in the doorway like an idiot, without greeting or asking if I wanted to have a look at the...More

Persons for full dinner. The servant was excellent and the food was of superb quality. We ordered 4 courses and everything was of "vestland" origin.

One of the best restaurants in town, in a cozy basement. They mostly have Norwegian traditional dishes prepared from very good quality ingredients with a twist. The sharing-concept gives you the opportunity to try even more dishes. Waiters have good knowledge about food and wine.

Great atmosphere and service. We had a six-course sharing menu, but enjoyed the «plukkfisk» most. Actually if you`re hungry I would go for The plukkfisk asmain course if you like fish. This is the signature course and wellknown among the lokal foodies.

We came looking to try some Norwegian dishes, and how better to do that than tapas? The food was fantastic and definitely the best we had in Bergen. The plates are large enough to share between two people, and the beer and wine list is...More

It's hip. It's fun. It's Norwegian tapas. Lively crowd. Fun wait staff. Delicious small plates. Excellent local beer selection. Not cheap - but, worth it. We would not hesitate for a second to recommend it.
